| This Bristol Blenheim Mark IV Type 149 Cockpit shows how cramped RAF personnel were during long continental flights. Note asymmetric cockpit. This section was taken from G-BPIV, which was restored in 1987 and 2003, and crashed both times. Currently this section is on display while the wings and tail section are mated to a rare Mark I Type 142M Blenheim. As of March 22, 2011, the airframe was assembled but the engines and landing gear were not in place. | |
