The Fallen is the story of three different armies, Italian, German and American, fighting on the Western Front in 1944 in World War II. A doomed German unit and their Italian allies fight an American unit. Designed to feel like a newsreel, The Fallen tries to compare the experience of Americans in Iraq in 2003 to Americans in World War II. This film was released in Europe in 2004.
