Brewster F2A Buffalo Fighter at Miami Naval Air Station

United States Navy Aviation Ordnanceman loads the .50 caliber (12.7 millimeter) M2 Browning machine guns in the fuselage of a Brewster F2A Buffalo fighter with ammunition, at Miami Naval Air Station. The F2A was then in use as a training aircraft. Note 3:1 ratio of black-tipped armor-piercing ammunition to red-tipped tracer ammunition.
