Messerschmitt Me-110. A failure as a day heavy fighter, the Me-110 and its Me-410 variant served well as a night fighter and bomber interceptor. These were the 1st fighters with the shark’s mouth that inspired the Royal Air Force (RAF) P-40s in Africa and the American Volunteer Group (AVG) Flying Tigers P-40Bs in China.
