I think they didn't portray a tank in this memorial because so many different tanks served with the Royal Army and it was hard to pick one. Tankers take their mounts as seriously as the calvary. “From Mud, Through Blood, to the Green Fields Beyond” is the Royal Tank Regiment battle cry. Right-click and choose "view image" to enlarge.
