Surgical Station

I've spared you the blood in this display...the surgical station had a lot of fake blood around. A photograph doesn't really convey what the experience was like. Sounds of an air raid and screaming and doctor’s conversations definitely tried to raise the dramatic level. I'm not sure that it worked. I'd like to know more about the tunnel itself, like the audio tour of Churchill’s war rooms, which let you go at your own pace. I stayed behind to take these photos, but we ran through the tunnels. At one point a holographic soldier delivered reports. (I’m not kidding.) I think it would have been good to focus on the various items in the tunnels, but I think they were cleaned out and not much was originally there. Right-click and choose "view image" to enlarge.
