Sophie Scholl: The Final Days

From Germany comes this entry into this year’s Academy Awards. It's the story of Hans and Sophie Scholl, the German college students who formed the White Rose Resistance cell against Nazism. They were executed in 1943. The movie was released in Europe last year and opeedn in New York and Los Angeles in February 2006.
