Another critical part of HMS Belfast's warmaking ability was the gunnery office, which is located off of the Compass Platform. Here the gunnery officers would receive information from the radio room about the other ships in the fleet, and coordinate the efforts of Belfast's weapons systems to attack the enemy and keep her safe from aircraft, submarines, coastal artillery and ships.
