The Bofors 40mm L/60 (L/56.1) fired a 2-pound (0.9 Kilogram) high explosive shell and 2,800 feet per second (850 meters per second) at 120 rounds per minute maximum, usually 80-100 rounds per minute as the gun was fed by a four-shell magazine by hand. This Mark V mount has two 40mm guns using an American designed mount. It could also be controlled via Type 282 radar.
