Front view of the 150mm sIG 33 150mm Close Infantry Support Gun. The German manufacturers attempted to replace the hard steel of this gun with lighter alloys, but it wasn't satisfactory. The gun required horse teams or motorized transport for mobility. Much of the Wehrmacht was horse drawn. Note the cutout for the gun captain to view his target.
