The Comet is an upgrade of the Cromwell tank, with a 17-pounder 77mm main gun and two 7.92 Besa machine guns. With 101mm of armor and a 29 mph speed, the Comet was arguably the best British tank of the war. It equipped the Royal Army 11th Armored Division and crossed the Rhine and participated in victory parades in Berlin. Right-click and choose "view image" to enlarge.
