Imperial War Museum Duxford Aircraft Displays

Air War Over Europe
Forum

In January 2006 I visited IWM Duxford, situated on a former Battle of Britain airfield that was later used for heavy bombers of the 8th USAAF. They have hangars and hangars of aircraft, and a very large museum of armor and artillery. These aircraft were in several different galleries and are presented in the order I visited them. Note the lattice construction of the 1918-era hangars overhead.
